Dr. Kempler is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT Lic. #40639). In 1992 he graduated from UC Irvine with a degree in Psychology and began working with adults with developmental disabilities. For 10 years Noah kept a dual focus of continuing his clinical work, while also developing as a professional musician. In 2001, he completed his Masters degree, with honors, at California State University Northridge. Noah then completed a clinical child development fellowship in the Child and Family Study Center at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. He then took a staff position there, practicing play therapy, family therapy and Floortime child therapy. In addition, he developed and led social skills groups for children 3-7 years of age. Since 2004 Noah has been in private practice in Mill Valley, California. In 2018, Noah earned his Doctorate in Psychology from Ryokan College and completed his dissertation on Emerging Treatments for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Noah is married and has 3 children. He enjoys camping, writing, and playing drums in his band Canyon.
